Bio
Maz is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Engineering Mathematics, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). Her research focuses on statistical pattern recognition, classification, dimension reduction and multi level data fusion. Most of her previous research were related to multi sensor data and medical data specifically diabetes diseases. Her recent work is aimed to unravel the association between predictors/risk factors of diabetic retinopathy (DR) and diabetic nephropathy (DN), and their influence towards the progression of stages of DR and DN. The final aim is to propose a predictive model for DR and DN.
